Allison Rowe
Born in the Swinging Sixties in sunny and cosmopolitan Carlisle, Allison first fell in love with acting when she landed the highly coveted role of Lead Shepherd in her first Nativity play. Of course the bright lights of London beckoned but after 13 years as a jobbing actress she tired of the ' big smoke' and returned North and Allison is delighted to be among the founders of The Happy Hour Theatre Company.
Jenny Pike
Jenny has loved acting since she was a child and performed in school plays and family 'entertainments'. She grew up in Wiltshire, moved to Scotland in 1974 and has performed with various amateur companies since then. Among her favourite roles played are Shirley in 'Shirley Valentine', which she took to the Edinburgh Fringe in 1998, Beverley in Abigail's party, Angela in 'My Brilliant Divorce' and Gail in Teechers.
Now retired, she achieved her ambition to become a professional actress and a member of Equity in 2012. She is delighted to be a part of Happy Hour and enjoys playing new, quirky characters each year.

Becca Roberts
Becca Roberts is from both Liverpool and Belfast and consequently is the one with a funny accent. Involvement in every school play and a love of acting led her to choosing Performing Arts as the subject for her university degree. Three years, and quite a few performances, later, in 2008, she was well settled in Carlisle and real life got under way, with theatre on the back burner for enjoyment rather than employment. She is looking forward to brushing the dust off, oiling the hinges and earning her keep as the newest member of Happy Hour, as she finally returns to the stage.
Rob Graham
Arriving into this world in the late fifties, the youngest of four I knew I had to fight for attention so here I am!
The acting bug really took hold when I joined a local group and in my first role I accidentally dropped my towel in the bedroom scene to give a very unexpected surprise to the audience; it has been fun performing ever since.
In normal life I have worked in textiles for many years. To keep fit, swimming and walking are my main hobbies, but these days I probably get most of my exercise on stage!!
Brian Scroggie
Brian became interested in theatre lighting and sound following retirement. It was all a new experience and he enjoyed developing new skills and working in a completely different environment from his previous professional life.
He is enjoying helping with the technical aspects of the shows.
